Preventive care of your trees ensures their health and longevity and saves you from having to pay for more tree services in the future.

It is not necessary to shape all trees. On a well-established site, many trees will not need any shaping, as they have a single stem with no excessively large lateral branches.

At the other extreme, there may be some very poor quality trees with many heavy branches and multiple forks. These trees are very difficult to improve and are likely to be removed on the first thinning.
